Some are saying that once InWorldz gets the bugs out

it's going to kick SL's butt. I haven't formed an opinion yet.

I wandered around for weeks in 'freebie' clothes until Aly

nagged me enough to make me go buy an outfit. I spent

enough money in SL to make me not want to leave it entirely.

And I do have a lot of friends in SL that I still want to keep up

with though most of them have decided to try InWorldz.

We'll see.....

Well *sigh* I've not done this in so long that I lost my original entry. *chuckle*

I navigated away from what I was doing and got lost :-)

For the past few months my real life has demanded my full attention and this blog among other things has had to take a back seat. I've managed to log into SL from time to time and catch up with my friends and they've still been able to contact me in other ways. Life is full of changes --

During one of my visits to SL I found a place called Circo Loon that was full of fun contraptions to ride and a lot of 'free to copy' scripted items to take home and play with.

Today after deliberate consideration Elvenshire chose to withdraw from the fantasy continent of Elf Circle, a difficult and necessary decision to make.

I have known Magnus and Raredread for a very long time and they are both very, very fine people. This decision was neither rash or illogical. It simply was the right thing to do.

TIGGS and I were such an unlikely pair. We got off with such a rocky start, I didn't like her at all, I thought she was so......well, not worth mentioning. Once I really got to know her I saw that even though we were polar opposites in many ways, we were also very much alike and so became fast friends. She gave me much support in many ways and I will always appreciate this.

I was sorry to see her sim go. I loved visiting her there and spent many hours exploring or just sitting. It was always so much fun popping in on her and playing pranks on her. My favorite thing to do was to have her tp me and showing up naked. We would always be in voice and she would laugh and say "Astrid you are naked." Of course I would argue that I was fully clothed on my screen with her insisting that I was naked on her's, even providing the supporting evidence of a snapshot.

I eagerly await her return to SL. She is sorely missed. And I love her.

I popped over to visit Vetherian and show him this new AO that I got. I'm not going to say who made it because it's a really good maker......but this particular one that I got is just so NOT ME.......I call it 'Girl On Quaaludes' because when I'm standing still it has me walking around in circles and playing with imaginary flying things....kind of like a kid poking at dust floating in sunbeams....... Perfect AO for a fae, I guess.

Vetherian is quite amused with my special 'battle pillow'....it is an actual SpellFire weapon that really packs a punch......I think the hits from it register the same as a broadsword. It's kind of hard to see the pillow in these shots though. Someone needs to have a word with the photographer......

Oh I love visiting this sim so much. I love to watch the waves crashing and swirling on these rocky shores. It has been years since I have seen this in real life and I truly miss it. Well that's a peek into my real life and as far as the average person will get *chuckle*.

Elf Circle Weapons Faire

There was a weapons faire held at ElvenMoor sandbox on Sunday. It was a good showcase for the weapons makers of Elf Circle and a chance for everyone to meet. I stood around with Ambrose and took over while he took his breaks. At one point things got a little boring and he started acting silly....put a box over me and acted like he didn't do it, haha.
