Ejected from the Group, Banned from the Sim, Kicked out of the show, and muted Oh My!

It has to be the Mercury Retrograde....So, on to the story....

I was taking a break from RL, my husband trying to die, me trying to juggle everything that goes with that..I visited SL and stumbled into an art project that came across my notices.

I thought it would be fun, it wasn't that complicated to just dress up some figures and pose them for a Valentine theme. Or so I thought. I was trying to rush through the process, made an error that was quickly cleared up with an explanation from the curator of the project. I got it turned in on the last day and of course I forgot to change perms on a prim (thump my head). The curator notified me and I sent her one as soon as I got the message.

But Oh My! I received the message from the curator this morning that I had been rude throughout the whole process, that I act as if I am "entitled"...that I am no longer welcome at her gallery, I'm kicked out of the group, my entry is rejected and I probably shouldn't even log into SL either *chuckle at that one*.

I've never been to the woman's gallery. I tried to visit this morning and I've been banned from her sim/parcel? I sent and apology when I got the message but I'm sure that I'm muted. It's the standard behavior when you ban someone.

I am amazed at the behavior. Just have never experienced anything like it. If I were a fragile person I would be crushed.

Meanwhile I build things in SL and try to keep my husband alive in RL. Okay? Okay.

RFL - It's time to Relay!

It has been a couple of years since I've visited Second Life's Relay for Life sims. The creative energy that these talented builders put into this great event makes it wonderful experience. 

Point of Entry:

This is where you find information about the Relay events 

and special attractions.

I couldn't get the teleporter to work so I opened the map and 

went straight to the track.

You just can't do the relay without the Linden bear :)

 Golda Stein's build is the first build that I visited.

This is my pick of the day and what a great place to log into on a gloomy Monday morning. I tried to post the SLURL here on the blog but it didn't work. This is one of the featured sites on the log in page of the game viewer in case you want to visit, or just open your map and type "The Celestial Realm" and teleport. You won't be disappointed!

While wandering through the SL10B (Second Life 10th birthday) sims

 I stopped to chat with some gnomes.

They were more concerned with their ice cream cones.

There's a poem in there.

The Numberology Sim

Yeps. That's what they named it. I checked it twice. Thrice. Anyway....
Chris Lexenstar's sim is a nice conceptual play on numbers and Numerology.

I took a break from gallery hopping to check this place out.

Thankfully there were no note vendors dispensing the same 

tired old "yada yada" about the meaning and significance of numbers *yawn*.

Right next to "Rust" is "Alice in Cornelland"....where it looks like they have a speed build every Thursday at 7p.m. SLT. This could be interesting.

Happy Spring (Again!)

OMG! Has it been this long since I've posted here? Well we'll fix that right now! :)

I'm back in SL a little more often these days and I have a studio in Artropolis now. I prefer to hang out there than the fantasy sims now that my home there is gone. Yes, dear Angelis closed down "The Glimmering" and now we're all scattered. No worries, RL seems to have gobbled up most of us in a happy way.
