I was trying to adjust my seat and kind of shot myself right out of the house. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with my effort to quit smoking. I kind of had a twitch in my hand, haha. For a minute I didn't know where I was......... Oh, and I'm wearing my 'Irritated Empress' tag. This could be appropriate for a (former) empress that's quitting smoking and .......where is my assistant? Don't ask. That's another story.

This is how most of us start out day in the elflands......dancing at the drum circle in Elven Glen. Sometimes there's just a couple of us here and sometimes we have so many that we crash the sim. *chuckle* Usually the dragons are the sim crashers.

Seriously.

I must be the pickiest builder but...people should pay attention to the animations that they put in their poses. I don't think it's inviting to sit in a bloom that gives one a look of horror on their face. No matter how pretty the bloom.

It makes the passerby wonder just what is in that bloom that the person is sitting on.

Africa

Froggy Pond

Last night I went house shopping at Michaelangelo Designs, it's in the Africa sim. (And I needed a break from the elves) While I was browsing I met a nice guy named Dave who lived in a campsite down below. I had no idea there were campsites to live in. I did first ask him if it was the camping that one usually sees in SL.

The campsite was cool. We sat and chatted for a little bit, learned about each other's lives. It was a very nice visit. A neat idea for an explorer that just wants a place to light for a bit.

So I got a break from the elves and I met a new friend :-)
