GMOA UNDER CONSTRUCTION On March 3, 2009, the Georgia Museum of Art broke ground on its Phase II expansion and launched GMOA on the Move, a state- and nationwide initiative of offsite programs and exhibitions. Due to construction, the museum offices are currently located in the former visual arts building on Jackson Street on UGA's North Campus. Although the galleries and shop are temporarily closed, special calendar events are still open to the public, and gift items are available from our new Web shop. Please visit the museum's virtual galleries in Second Life and view the calendar for a complete listing of GMOA on the Move events.The Georgia Museum of Art is scheduled to reopen in early 2011.

Blackfire pays a visit

Blackfire seems to think that the pirates are behind this. Well, I did have one in my class lastnight. And one of them did put me in a bottle right before class........hmmm............

Payback.....

Someone....I can't be sure who....but someone put a pirate flag on top of my asteroid at Elf Harbor. I'm thinking it was Alyvaral, of course. Wouldn't have anything to do with the 20 cats I put in her office, the alien on her roof or the hungry snowman in her living room. No.

Well I naturally would blame it on the pirates, but they don't know that my asteroid is up here. Well now they do. Damn, haha. I let the cat out of the bag.

Today after deliberate consideration Elvenshire chose to withdraw from the fantasy continent of Elf Circle, a difficult and necessary decision to make.

I have known Magnus and Raredread for a very long time and they are both very, very fine people. This decision was neither rash or illogical. It simply was the right thing to do.

All of my love and best wishes for Elvenshire!

TIGGS

TIGGS and I were such an unlikely pair. We got off with such a rocky start, I didn't like her at all, I thought she was so......well, not worth mentioning. Once I really got to know her I saw that even though we were polar opposites in many ways, we were also very much alike and so became fast friends. She gave me much support in many ways and I will always appreciate this.

I was sorry to see her sim go. I loved visiting her there and spent many hours exploring or just sitting. It was always so much fun popping in on her and playing pranks on her. My favorite thing to do was to have her tp me and showing up naked. We would always be in voice and she would laugh and say "Astrid you are naked." Of course I would argue that I was fully clothed on my screen with her insisting that I was naked on her's, even providing the supporting evidence of a snapshot.

I eagerly await her return to SL. She is sorely missed. And I love her.
